We had an outstanding experience during our stay with Silvia. Our place was clean, had a great view and was extremely cozy (had the best sleep here during our trip to Italy). Silvia was an excellent communicator and she made us feel so welcome. In terms of location we could not have asked for a better place to stay. We had an incredible view of the Umbrian hills right outside our window and enjoyed a quiet and peaceful stay after being in Rome for a couple of days. Place is close to Assisi (about a 10 min drive through the hills) and Perugia which is about 30 minutes. We fell in love with Assisi and found the food there amazing, especially Ristorante Ghiotto. Silvia also provided us with delicious breakfast and coffee each morning! Totally worth the extra 10 euro we paid for the breakfast. We rented a car which definitely made things easier. If we plan a future trip to Assisi, we would love to return to Silvia’s with friends and family!

Silvia is an amazing host and we absolutely loved our stay at her ranch. It was the perfect place to get away from the city and relax during our trip. Silvia’s place is set in the beautiful hills outside of the Assisi town. The apartment itself is charming (kitchen and bathroom are small but adequate for our needs) and the bedrooms are spacious and nicely decorated. We found the beds to be quite comfortable! Silvia is a very gracious and friendly host and gave us lots of local tips and help getting there and around the area. We loved the feel of the property where the kids have lots of room to play and explore! There is also a lovely common area with a fireplace and wonderful sweet animals to get to know 😃 I highly recommend Silvia’s place and hope to come back one day!

The warmest welcome we have ever received, the most idyllic haven amongst the beautiful Umbrian hills, just serene. We stayed 2 nights at Le Ginestre in a two bedroom upstairs apartment. The bedrooms were very spacious and beds comfortable although I personally found the pillows uncomfortable. The bathroom was small but adequate as was the kitchen and living/ dining space. There is a inside common area if you want more space plus plenty of outdoor tables and chairs, with a relaxing view of the woods. The pool area was lovely although the weather was not good for swimming. Silvia has a fabulous menagerie of 2 lovely dogs and over 15 cats which we all, but mostly my daughters, thoroughly enjoyed! A lovely peaceful location and very convenient to Gubbio plus Assisi. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Silvia’s was an unforgettable experience. You will be greeted by pups, a gorgeous view up the mountain and multiple spaces with activities on the property. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing- highly recommend spending the day there! There were a variety of activities in the area like shiatsu massages, hot air balloon ride and dinner at Livia’s (10 minute walk/homemade Umbrian deliciousness), and hikes with beautiful views. We also loved the closeness to the beautiful city of Assisi through car or taxi. Silvia was attentive and responsive. Her kindness as a host was unmatched. Highly recommend!!

If you want to experience heaven on earth, you should stay here. Silvia’s place is stunning and so tranquil. The views are beautiful and the pool area is just so peaceful and pretty. The dogs, chickens and cats topped it off! Definitely recommend the breakfast with fresh eggs from the chickens. We were a bit worried about the off road driving especially having a hired car. Whilst it is steep and windy getting up there, the off-road bit at the end isn’t as bad as we thought - our car made it up ok. We spent a lot of our time visiting the beautiful villages close by. If you’re looking for somewhere beautiful, peaceful and with a wonderful host, this is a great place.

Nous avons passé deux merveilleuses semaines dans cet endroit si calme et beau. Le logement est tres agréable, propre et avec tout ce dont on a besoin. Increíble alojamiento! Volvería sin dudas y lo recomendare a todos. A las afueras de Asís (es necesario auto si o si) es la oportunidad ideal de disfrutar del pueblo y todo lo turístico que ofrece, pero quedándose entre el verde, las estrellas, animalitos, olivos, lavandas, etc. Una vista hermosa. Y el plus de una piscina hermosa para refrescarse en verano. Apto familias con niños! Nuestra bebé de 1 año lo disfrutó mucho. La habitación muy cómoda: cama, baño geniales. Wir durften eine Woche mit zwei Kleinkindern (1 und 2Jahre) hier verbringen. Silvias Domizil ist wirklich ein Paradis. Silvia ist super lieb und kümmert sich wirklich um alles. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten das kleine Apartment (35qm) mit einer kleinen Pantryküche. Die Lage ist perfekt um alle Städte rund um Assisi, Perugia, Spello etc. zu erkunden. Auch zum Meer sind es nur knapp 2h. Zu unserer Zeit war es mit Temperaturen von 38grad in den Städten sehr heiß und wir waren froh, dass wir uns ein bisschen weiter oben auf den Bergen befunden haben. Der Pool hat uns viel Abkühlung und Spaß gebracht. Auch das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und super individuell gestaltet. Die Kinder waren sehr glücklich sich mit den vielen Tieren zu beschäftigen und diese zu beobachten. Es gibt zwei Hunde, ein paar Kätzchen und zwei Hühner. Alle sind total lieb und zutraulich. Wir können einen Urlaub bei Silvia wirklich nur weiter empfehlen.

This is a truly amazing place to have a gathering of friends or family. The location is serene and located in a beautiful valley with such gorgeous amenities that allow you to enjoy the outdoors. Our entire family including each of our three kids ranging from ages 11 to 17 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Silvia’s. Silvia cares extremely about the comfort about her guests and proactively thinks what we might need before we even think of it, so we are not at all surprised that Silvia is an “AirBnb superhost”. Special highlights were the amount of October sun we could soak up on the property, from early morning sun on one side to late afternoon on the other side by the pool. Our sun and I enjoyed playing ping pong and I loved exploring the Umbrian forest paths that take you up on various surrounding hills. Another highlight was the breakfast - you can choose between a lighter Italian-style breakfast or as one of my daughters and I did a German breakfast with all the fixings such as eggs freshly laid by Silvia’s chicken. My daughters loved bonding with lots of the cats and I enjoyed petting and playing with the two dogs.

Silvia and Eddie are great host! They are really kind. They give a lot of information and recommendations. They will help you with reservations and everything. It feels like nothing you ask them, can be to much. The b&b has everything you need. An amazing view, good terrace, nice and clean rooms, very nice swimmingpool, tasty breakfast and great wine! The location is perfect. You can go to different places and there are a lot of good restaurants. Everything you need for a nice and chill holiday. There are a lot of things witch can be arranged at the B&B. We had a cook one evening, great winetasting with chocolat, but you can alsof have a massage etc etc etc. The b&b has a lot to offer! Defiantly a place to stay if your looking for a nice, relaxing, calm b&b. We recommend this place big time.

B&B immerso nelle splendide colline umbre, luogo ideale per chi cerca tranquillità e ritmi lenti, si trova a 10-15 min in auto da Assisi. Ottima la comunicazione con Silvia sia prima che durante il soggiorno, sempre attenta alle necessità dei clienti, al vostro arrivo vi presenterà le varie aree del B&B e vi farà sentire come a casa. Durante la vostra permanenza potrete anche fare conoscenza con un bel gruppo di amici a 4 zampe, tra cani e gatti affettuosi e simpaticissimi! Il breve tratto di strada in salita prima di arrivare al B&B è in ghiaia, ed è parecchio dissestato, quindi se avete la possibilità di scegliere tra più auto optate per quella con il pianale più alto da terra in modo da evitare ammaccature/danneggiamenti (non intendo dire che serve un fuoristrada, io l'ho raggiunto con una Ford Fiesta, basta salire adagio prestando un po' di attenzione). Ancora grazie a Silvia per la sua gentilezza, la sua disponbilità e la piacevole vacanza abbiamo trascorso alle Ginestre!

The place was everything we had been looking for: surrounded by nature, an amazing view on the valley, peaceful and quiet, a comfortable and clean room with private entrance, including a little kitchen, different little spots to relax, an amazing pool, the option to have home-made breakfast and dinner,... But the best part is the amazing hosts, Silvia and Eddie! They instantly made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, by connecting even before our arrival to make sure we could navigate easily to their place, by providing tips on what to do in the area, tips on where to eat (and even making reservations for us as we didn’t have good reception :)), cooking amazing breakfast and dinner, and even adding little personalized cards when we were celebrating our anniversary and my husband’s birthday. You could just feel how passionate both of them are about what they do. We would recommend to everyone and would love to go back one day!

Ohne große Erwartungen haben wir uns auf den Weg nach Italien gemacht um ein paar Tage Abstand vom Trubel zu bekommen. Und was soll ich sagen...wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen von Sylvia u Edi. Jederzeit war Sylvia per WhatsApp für uns greifbar. Man hat uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie nur möglich gemacht. Das Anwesen ist toll und sehr authentisch. Jedes Zimmer ist mit viel Liebe und Charme eingerichtet, jedes individuell. Es ist so weitläufig wie nötig so dass man am Pool ein paar Schritte vom Haus entfernt das tolle Wetter in Ruhe genießen kann. Wem es doch nach Kultur u einem reichhaltigen Gastronomischen Angebot ist wird im 15-minütigen entfernen Assisi fündig, ein beeindruckender Ort. Auch weitere Orte u Locations sind in Reichweite und viel schöne Natur auch zum Wandern oder Biken. Aber man kann es sich auch nur im Le Ginestre Gut gehen lassen, Edi kocht hervorragend und das Frühstück auf der tollen Sonnenterrasse war ein Traum u bietet alles was es braucht. Es hat uns so gut gefallen das wir bereits für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht haben, und dann sogar das ganze Haus, das geht nämlich auch (18-20 Personen). Das sagt eigentlich alles :-)

Siamo capitati per caso in questo angoletto di paradiso. Dovevamo rimanere una sola notte, ma gia dopo poche ore abbiamo deciso di estendere il soggiorno almeno di un altro giorno e se avessimo potuto saremo rimasti ancora di più. La location è mozzafiato, il casale curato e pulito nei minimi particolari, colazione ottima genuina fatta con le uova delle loro galline. Silvia e Eddie poi sono il fiore all'occhiello della struttura: cordiali, disponibili, molto preparati sulla zona limitrofa e molto amichevoli. La chicca che ci ha definitivamente conquistato?! I loro cagnoloni e i gattini.. educati e dolci come i padroni.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. The place is splendid: surrounded by nature, located in a quiet valley, you get to stay in an traditional Italian house that provides you with everything you need to relax: comfortable and clean rooms, lots of little corners to hang out, and of course the pool. But the best part are the hosts Eddie and Silvia, who do an incredible job running this beautiful B&B. They instantly made us feel welcome, and made sure we had a wonderful stay. Il nostro è stato un viaggio "babymoon" :) Ci siamo trovati benissimo. "Le Ginestre" sono immerse nella campagna umbra a circa 10 minuti di macchina da Assisi. Potete decidere se strutturare la vostra vacanza in completo relax nella piscina della struttura e facendo passeggiate nelle zone circostanti o, come noi, potete girare, visitando i vari luoghi sapendo di poter tornare in un posto comodo e rilassante. Great place with all the amenities you need for a short or medium stay. The place it’s in the middle of the nature, far away from the caos of the city and very well kept. Eddy and Silvia are great host, as well as Giovanna the massage therapist! Room was spacious and clean. The only thing is that there is a steep road, not paved, that might be difficult to do if you are on motorcycles.

Sylvia and Eddie are very sweet hosts. They were ready from start to finish to make it an unforgettable dream vacation. When you arrive, peace immediately falls over you. both in the apartment and outside you will find endless beautiful details that make it very cozy. The lovely swimming pool with the blissful floating bed, the scent of the lavender, the beautiful view and beautiful terrace, a starry sky in the wonderful silence. It all makes it like a dream. The breakfast was also delicious. Sylvia provides variety and can bake deliciously. Maja and Lillo are also 2 lovely dogs that love to cuddle. We enjoyed every moment with our family. We have traveled a lot and already visited beautiful places with the feeling, it is beautiful but want to see other things next time, but this is the first place we want to go back because it is so perfect. This place is utterly beautiful. The scenery is breathtaking, and is made all the more better by the fantastic use of space by the hosts! We enjoyed breakfast while gazing into a magnificent valley, lounged by the pool engulfed in the relaxing scent of lavender bushes and it was honestly just what the doctor ordered after being trapped at home due to the pandemic. Silvia and Eddie are fantastic hosts, full of great recommendations, always available in a flash and even to let us back in our room when we forgot our keys, at the end of the night (sorry again!). They keep the cleanest and tidiest of rooms, which again are supplemented by the stunning views all around from the bedroom windows. If your thinking about staying here, stop and just book it!

What great hospitality in a beautiful and tranquil spot! We came here for two days’ rest after hiking a week on the Way of Saint Francis, and Silvia and Eddie couldn’t have been more hospitable. Our favorite moments included settling in with a hot chocolate and Bailey’s, the next day’s leisurely breakfast with lots of coffee, sitting in the common/dining room all afternoon reading (with a fire, which was fantastic on a wintry day),and having the opportunity to order snacks and a great pasta dinner, with Silvia’s excellent baking for dessert. We felt superbly well cared for. The rooms are beautiful, well decorated and clean; the surrounding scenery is bucolic; the hosts go way beyond the minimum and are in close contact, willing to help with every detail. They are interesting people to talk to as well! This will be remembered as one of my top Airbnb experiences anywhere in the world. I just wish I could see it again in summer, when the pool is available.

We just loved this place! It was a last minute booking we made to break up our long drive from San Miniato to Santo Stefano di Sessanio so we only had one night here but WOW, we were so glad with our decision. This is place was beautifully situated up in the hills and was certainly worth the journey up. The room was clean, stylish and had the most spectacular view. The hosts, Silvia and Eddie were so thoughtful and friendly. The kind of hospitality you would expect from a real B & B where the inn keepers truly care about making the travellers feel welcome. On the evening of our arrival we had requested to borrow a couple of wine glasses and plates so we could enjoy some goodies we had picked up in at a local market and when we went down to the dining area we had found that they had set up the table so beautifully for us to prepare and enjoy our market goods. The breakfast is a separate fee which is totally worth it. We went with the Italian style breakfast and it was perfect. Silvia had made fresh bread, served homemade jams and peanut butter, fruits (which included beautiful pomegranates that grow on their property), variety of juices and coffee. This place is gorgeous at this time of the year with all the autumn colours but I can only imagine how stunning it is in the spring and summer when the everything is fully in bloom and their pool is open. Incredible value and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the Umbria region. Also, the little town Assisi is only a shorty drive away and is a truly beautiful medieval town that is worth seeing.

I would recommend having a car to stay here (as you should throughout Tuscany honestly). Paradise is so appropriate. We only stayed one night and I wish we had stayed longer. While it was too cold to use the pool they still had it open to dip your feet and at least enjoy the view of it. Their two puppies Lillo and Maia along with their three sweet kitties were just an added bonus. We had the massages and yoga by the pool while we were there. Which were much needed given our travel schedule. I would absolutely recommend staying with here on your trip and I am planning on staying on my next trip to Italy.

Assisi was a maybe when we were planning our trip but I am so happy we made it. It truly is a beautiful city and area. Silvia is very easy to contact for any questions & Eddie picked us up after a long train ride and made us feel right at home. The Airbnb website really does not do the place justice.. it is absolutely breathtaking in person which really is difficult to be captured in photos! The house and rooms are very charming and the animals will give you a warm and friendly welcome as well.. the grounds and amenities are great and dinner made by Chef Eddie was relaxing, delicious and reasonable. You will really be doing yourself a favor by staying with these guys and the town itself is unbelievably charming as well.. steep streets to walk up and down.. but if you can handle it.. you will fall in love with this place truly! My husband and our two children (10 and 13) spent the most wonderful 9 days at Le Ginestre in July. It was our first family holiday abroad in years and it could not have been better. Our apartment was charming and spotlessly clean. The view from the kitchen and one of the bedrooms was particularly spectacular – looking out across the beautiful valley. There were plenty of places to sit and soak up the atmosphere outside of our apartment including a lovely terrace and the fantastic swimming pool which we all spent plenty of time in.
But best of all were our hosts - Silvia and Eddie - who were endlessly thoughtful, charming and obliging. Both are natural hoteliers and clearly take pleasure in offering an excellent service and could not have done more to make us feel happy and get the most out of our trip. (Particular highlights were a fantastic truffle hunting trip that Sylvia set us up with and a tour of Gubbio itself.)
We hugely enjoyed some delicious dinners courtesy of Eddie, who has recently started cooking for guests. Other meals, snacks and drinks that are on offer are very good and reasonably priced. Thank you Silvia and Eddie - we will definitely be back.

It was perfect. We just couldn't ask for more. The place is beautiful, surrounding with green beautiful nature. The room is beautiful and so clean and the view from the window is just a "wow". Silvia and her husband run a very comfortable and laidback b&b on an amazing hill in Umbria. They have mastered a perfect balance between involvement, hospitality and easy-goingness which we enjoyed a lot. Eddie laid out a beautiful breakfast each morning and was there to host us, no matter what time we went down for breakfast. Such an amazing place! Located only a short 15 min drive from Assisi, the place is easy to reach by car or taxi. The place in itself is stunning, with incredible views and surrounded by a sense of tranquillity - a proper, calm getaway from the city, which is exactly what we needed. My friend was so relaxed, he slept nearly the whole time we were there! As we were three people, we had opted for the small two-bedroom apartment. The rooms were bright, nice and clean, with comfortable beds. We had everything we needed. Perhaps the best thing about the place is Silvia and Eddie - the owners who will welcome you with a great big smile and incredible sense of hospitality. They truly catered for our every need, going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Eddie makes a great cabonara and Silvia's brownie tastes like a piece of heaven. Admitted - we spent a lot of time just eating and drinking wine while there. Not to forget Maya, the sweetest, happiest dog in the world. Bottom line is, that we can't recommend this place enough. And I am looking forward to coming back in the summer, when the swimming pool is open.

Silvia and Eddie were extremely welcoming, kind, funny, and very thoughtful. My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. Silvia picked us up at the train station with additional cost for fuel but much cheaper than what we would have to pay for taxi. When I got to her place I just could not believe the view from the house. The house oversees the valley and the room that we stayed in also has the same view from the bedroom and the bathroom. The room was spotless clean with a nice farm style to it. The common area was very cozy with a wood burning fireplace and is also where we eat breakfast and dinner made by Silvia and Eddie. The food was incredibly fresh and taste great! And when I mean fresh, I mean the eggs that you eat during breakfast are from the hens in their backyard. And the pasta that we had was made by me under Eddie’s supervision. He offers homemade pasta class and I have to say it was the greatest experience I’ve ever had. I also had a body massage from a local yoga instructor that came up to Silvia’s place and does the massage right inside the back room. There’s a nice short hiking trail in their backyard that brings you up to an incredible view of the valley. Hot tubs and pools that are open during the summer time with amazing view as well. Being in Assisi and at Silvia and Eddie’s place was the best way my bf and I could ever experience what Italy is truly all about.

Der große, gepflegte Pool liegt abgeschieden (aber nicht weit weg) und ist somit die perfekte "Ruhe-Oase". Le Ginestre is a very special B&B. The host Sylvia runs the B&B in a very familial way. You feel very welcome from the first minute after arrival. The rooms are nicely furnished and very clean. The pool is simply a Dream...especially the view on the hills surrounding the B&B. We loved the breakfast very much: homemade bread, cakes, jam, eggs individually prepared etc. etc. There is plenty you can do in the area: visiting Assisi, go hiking, visit Gubbio and many other small and lovely historic towns of Umbria. Our kids loved the animals (dog Maia, cats, chicken) at the B&B a lot, see picture. We will for sure come back again! Thank you Sylvia for the amazing week!

Relaxing, beautiful--highly recommend
I wholeheartedly recommend Le Ginestre B&B as a spot to relax and read, to let the kids explore and to use as a jumping-off point for Assisi and everything in the region. The address is "Paradiso" and the house really feels like it--broad sweeping views of the Umbrian countryside, a swimming pool with comfortable chairs around it, and rooms that feel airy and well-ventilated, even during hot summer days. Silvia is a friendly, welcoming host who can make recommendations for how to experience the area, including special events that might not be in the guidebooks. Breakfast is fresh eggs, a selection of meats and cheeses and jams and breads, pastries, yogurt...and if the weather is nice, can be eaten on the terrace overlooking the valley. Maybe some wine by the pool in the afternoon...and for dinner, just walk down the country road about 10 minutes to Livia's place for an authentic Italian meal in a farm home restaurant!

Relaxing countryside stopover outside of Assisi
We had a wonderful stay at Silvia’s B&B. It provided a relaxing environment with superb views, great walking trail and the best breakfasts we had on our trip. Silvia was a very friendly and helpful host, providing wonderful tips for dinner options and local tourist attractions. The resident animals, Maia the dog, the 5 cats, hens and rooster (who gets things going in the morning) were very cute and added to the experience. Would highly recommend if you’re after a quiet, relaxing experience away from the hustle and bustle of many Italian towns/cities in July. Assisi is an easy 15 min drive away.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
We stayed at Le Ginestre B&B for a long weekend and I wish it could have been for a week!!! The farmhouse is secluded, quiet, and spotlessly clean, however, our favorite part of the weekend was relaxing by the beautiful pool. What a view!!! Silvia is an amazing host and provided us with excellent restaurants recommendations during our stay. The B&B is a short 10-15 minute drive from Assisi, and close to several of the wineries in the Sagrantino Wine region. We are looking forward to returning to Le Ginestre B&B soon!!

Silvia is amazing and did everything she could to make our stay incredible. She went well above and beyond what she had to do to make our stay enjoyable, even to making a birthday cake. She responds very quickly to anything that you need and is willing to help with anything that comes up. The place is beautiful with some of the most amazing views of Mount Subasio and surrounding areas that you could hope for. Children will love the animals and the place is extremely well maintained. The best place I have ever discovered on this website. A great place to relax in a beautiful setting. The pool is fantastic and you can't ask for a much better place to stay than here. Spent a glorious week here. The apartment was lovely with a beautiful view of the Umbrian hills covered with Spanish broom. Rose bushes galore on the property and a pool to cool off and relax after sight-seeing made you feel like prolonging your stay. Silvia, the gracious hostess, served a tasty breakfast and was very helpful with advice for restaurants and points of interest. It's a B&B I can highly recommend for those who want to relax and enjoy the Dolce Vita after a busy day visiting the cultural highlights. This place gets full points from me. 👍

Fantastic!! Le Ginestre is an absolute gem. The location is incredible with in the beautiful countryside yet very close to Assisi and all the local sights. Silvia was so lovely. I can not say enough about her help, care and hospitality while we were there. I was traveling with my older parents and young baby and she went above and beyond to make us comfortable, provided delicious breakfast with local made products including her delicious jam and olive oil. Her suggestions and tips were spot on & she even threw together a last minute lunch for us when we mistakenly missed the supermarket closing time on Sunday. We will definitely be back again! Heavenly. Tucked away in the hills near Assisi, this is the perfect place to soak up the rich beauty of Umbria and unwind. From the lovely stone house to the big pool, the abundance of flowers and the breathtaking views, we simply adored it. Silvia who runs the b&b is a wonderful hostess and serves a yummy breakast with eggs from her own chickens. She goes out of her way to help out with activity planning - her recommendations for restaurants and hikes were superb. We stayed for a week in late May / early June and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. So glad we discovered this place!

SUPERB Experience!!
My wife and I stayed at Le Ginestre three nights, April 27-29, 2018. We loved Le Ginestre--and Silvia Gold!
To begin, after making reservations, Silvia sent a couple of emails to us with information about things to do in the area, places to eat, etc., and she asked if we wanted her to make dinner reservations at the inn about 800 meters down the hill from Le Ginestre; she highly recommended it. I'm glad we decided to do so because the 8-course meal for 30 euros per person (including a bottle of wine) was fabulous!
Back to Le Ginestre: This inn is about 6 miles (10 kilometers) north of Assisi. The setting is beautiful. The inn is at the top of a ridge overlooking a gorgeous valley. I could sit on the deck at Le Ginestre for hours just absorbing the beauty of the location!
The room we were in was spotless, and the bathroom had new modern fixtures and was immaculate, also. The beds were comfortable.
Silvia serves a great breakfast each morning, and she asked us if we had any special requests; we didn't but another couple requested eggs, so she made them scrambled eggs. They were fresh eggs from the two hens that roam the property. The breakfast room is a very nice room with a rustic, cozy, homey feel.
I give Le Ginestre my highest recommendation!!!

Eccellente! Silvia è stata una persona impeccabile nelle comunicazioni e davvero ospitale, con la sua allegria e il suo modo simpatico di parlare in italiano. La camera pulitissima, arredata con cura, offre una vista strepitosa delle colline umbre. Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno talmente bello, immersi nella natura e dagli animali, che non vediamo l'ora di tornare. Probabilmente organizzeremo insieme con gli amici più cari, per usufruire magari anche della piscina con la vista sulla valle... Infine volevo ringraziare Silvia per un atto che abbiamo trovato speciale. Al ritorno della nostra cena ad Assisi, siamo entrati e abbiamo trovato la camera con luci soffuse, una bottiglia di rosso, due calici e un bellissimo biglietto di auguri per la mia compagna, che a mezzanotte avrebbe compiuto gli anni. Silvia and Ed’s bnb was great! We had 2 in one of 2 bed Apt’s and it was perfect. The area is really nice and in summer, view will be wonderful. There is a nice large common room where guests can sit and watch tv, play games, etc. Sylvia and Ed were great hosts and made us and 2 other guests a snack//dinner at the moment. I believe they do some bbq in summer too and there’s an agriturusmo open in summer where we heard dinners were great and reasonably priced. About 15-20 min drive from Assisi and using coordinates on gps that come from Airbnb were helpful. A great place..I will definitely return!

Silvia and Eddie's place is in the beautiful Umbrian countryside and the photographs don't do justice to how beautiful their place is. However many days you plan to stay here, I am sure it wont be enough. They have a cute dog named Maya who is very friendly and cats and ducks too. Eddie was extremely helpful with recommendations to restaurants around. Their home has several areas where you can relax in privacy and the view from our room is a lanscape painting that keeps getting better.
